This shoe is meant to stand for elasticity and flexibility. The upper material is a very stretchy constrictive textile, similar to compression stockings. The lacing system has also been revisited. Only one lace is used to bind the shoe and it is simply secured at the end with a cord stopper. The upper material is designed to fit the foot so snugly that traditional lacing is not necessary. The wearer should have a sensation of maximum freedom so that they barely notice they are wearing shoes.
