This is a trekking shoe designed primarily to impress with its performance in wet muddy weather. It is designed to be pretty sturdy to let the wearer walk well in mountainous terrain. It therefore features multi-layered synthetic coating. The lacing system is designed to encase the entire midfoot to afford enhanced support. The midfoot is also encased and held firm below the lacing system by tough woven fabric.
